Kingston Park
One of Newcastle's newest districts, built up around its own Metro station.
A late-century development
Kingston Park is one of the more recently developed parts of Newcastle, growing from the late 20th century onward into a mix of business parks, retail and housing on the city's northern edge, served by its own stop on the Metro's Green Line en route to the Airport. It has little of the older industrial history found elsewhere on this site, standing instead as an example of Newcastle's more recent expansion.
